中華棒協30日召開2015年成棒及青棒選訓會議，會中決議並通過「2015年第28屆光州世界大學運動會棒球項目」教練團名單，除了總教練郭李建夫之外，教練團為康明杉、林宗毅、李軾揚。郭李建夫表示，教練團以21U世界盃為班底，但邱敏舜改由林宗毅入選，同時考慮再找外籍打擊教練克魯茲(Tommy Cruz)擔任客座打擊教練。

光州世大運將在7月上旬舉辦，由郭李建夫領軍，他表示，有考慮2014年21U世界盃棒球賽球員，但還是要依照近況做決定；旅外球員徵召部分，目前還沒有討論到。除夕圍爐

教練團除了邱敏舜換成林宗毅之外，其餘教練都與21U時相同，郭李建夫說，世大運教練需在大學任教，但邱敏舜在社會隊，因此資格不符，改由台灣體育大學教練林宗毅入選；而克魯茲在21U時期給予小將指導，郭李建夫說，已經和棒協提出計畫，再找克魯茲擔任客座打擊教練。

而棒協公布預計的日程，郭李建夫說，其實討論時還有很多版本，必須待5月30日才會完全確。
